1. Statement of Purpose
Educational Policy Forum is a journal aiming to explore issues concerning contemporary educational policies and administration within and without Taiwan, to disseminate research results, to promote academic exchange, and to improve research work in education.

2. About Contributors
All parties who are concerned with educational policies and administration, including researchers, educational practitioners and administrators from all levels of education within and without Taiwan are welcome to submit their manuscripts.

3. Review Process
(1) Educational Policy Forum publications use the system of blind review. All manuscripts will be subject to preliminary, blind examination by the editorial board to ensure that they meet the requirements of the journal. After initial editorial review, those papers considered appropriate will be sent to two to three reviewers with expertise in the subject for further blind review.

(2) Upon return of the reviews, the tentative acceptance, revision, or rejection will be determined by the editorial board based on the comments of reviewers. Final decision of acceptance will be made after appropriate revision is made.

(3) The review process shall take about six months, consequently, authors should not expect to hear from editors before that time regarding the status of their papers. Notice of acceptance, revision, or rejection will be sent to the corresponding author within six months after the manuscript is received.

4. About the Publication of Educational Policy Forum
(1) Educational Policy Forum (ISSN 1560-8298) is a scholarly journal of theory and research in education. Since it was founded in 1998, the Educational Policy Forum had been publishing semiannually in both of February and August. Beginning with the 2006 issues (vol. 09, No. 01- Feb 2006). The journal has been publishing quarterly in February, May, August, and November.

(2) The publication number and volume of accepted manuscripts are under the decision of the editorial board.

(3) According to the needs for editing, the editorial board maintains the right for partial revision. For those who are unwilling to accept such arrangements, please note beforehand.

(4) Once the manuscript is accepted and published, the author will be rewarded with two copies of corresponding issue of Educational Policy Forum.

5. Instructions to Contributors
(1) Submissions must follow the styles outlined in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 7th edition). In addition, three copies of the written manuscript and one file in Word Format should be included.

(2) Please include the information in relation to the contributor in the front of the manuscript, which should contain the topic, key words, author name, working institution and current position in both Chinese and English in addition to phone numbers, including cellular phone number, and E-mail.

(3) Manuscripts must be typewritten, double-spaced with wide margins on one side of white paper. Good quality printouts with a font size of 12pt are required.

(4) Order of the manuscripts: basic information of contributors, abstract and keywords, text, footnotes, appendixes, and references.

(5) Submitted manuscripts should be original material and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Further, the author should be responsible for any controversies regarding plagiarism, copyright and personal speech.
