Each manuscript submitted to the Educational Policy Forum is subjected to the following review process:
.The executive editors will conduct preliminary review to ensure that the format of manuscripts meets the regulations when there are new manuscripts. Then, initial screening by the Editorial Board will determine the suitability of the article for the Educational Policy Forum. If the manuscript is deemed inappropriate for the journal because it does not conform to the journal’s mission or academic standards, it will be promptly returned to the author(s).
.The manuscript that has passed the preliminary examination shall be submitted with the basic information of contributors and copyright license agreement of the manuscript.
.Based on the Editorial Board’s recommendation, the article will then be anonymously assigned to two or three reviewers, according to its functional and methodological content. A careful review will be conducted by these experts, each of whom will make a recommendation to the Editorial Board. If the Editorial Board then consider the paper has potential for publication, the author will be requested to make revisions based upon the suggestions of the Editorial Board and reviewers.
.Upon receipt of the revised manuscript, the Editorial Board will make a final decision. The Editorial Board will appraise the entire review process, making sure that all revisions suggested by the referee(s) have been properly addressed. Upon acceptance, the author(s) will be required to sign the agreement of copyright authorization for the Educational Policy Forum. Copyright assignment is a condition of publication, and papers will not be passed to the publisher for publication unless the copyright has been assigned.
.Authors that violate copyrights or plagiarize will take full legal responsibility for their actions. Authors will certify that none of the contents in manuscripts are copyrighted, published or accepted for publication by another journal, under review by another journal or submitted to another journal while under review by Educational Policy Forum.
.Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication to the Educational Policy Forum will be a partial publication fee due from the authors before formal acceptance (NTD $3000). Authors should add the list of references translated from Chinese into English. And sign the agreement form for editing English abstract. Those who decide to accept the publication shall review three manuscripts for the journal free of charge.
.In principle, the manuscript submitted and accepted for publication should discontinue publication in any other form and should not appear in any other journals.
